What happened when activist Gina Miller met a troll who sent her abusive messages online?

I filmed this report before the pandemic. It shows the power of communication, which is more relevant than ever now relationships have gone online. Really proud to have worked on this brilliant short with a wonderful team at BBC Current Affairs and Crossing Divides. Reported by Marianna Springs. Produced by Reha Kansara. Directed, filmed and edited by me. BBC Trending Editor: Mike Wendling.

BBC Crossing Divides

The world can feel so fragmented at the moment, so when I got a phone call to make films that bring people together across divides I said yes straight away. BBC Crossing Divides is an awesome season airing on TV, radio and online throughout 2019. A sneak peak of a meeting I filmed between a Coventry black cab driver and an Uber driver has made it into the #CrossingDivides trailer. Feel free to check it out!

I am not just carrying cameras these days!

A picture popped up the other day that reminded me of a fun job ten years ago running around after American footballers, camera in hand. A couple of weeks ago I was still attached to my camera, but I had the luxury of being assisted with lifting as I am already carrying quite another kind of load!

I am currently pregnant with twins. Whilst I'd planned to have taken a break from filming before 32 weeks I just couldn't say no to Bristol Children's Hospital.  They asked me to film a music video with the kids and staff on the wards and it was such a lovely experience that I am glad I said yes.

And hey, if my twin babies had decided to make an early appearance I couldn't have been in a better place! Thankfully, delivery will only be of this film and the babies let me get on with my job. I'm really happy that my final shoot for a while was with the incredible inspiring children and staff at the Hospital. What a privilege it was to work with them all!

BBC Panorama: British Bribery Exposed

Looking forward to seeing BBC Panorama's British Bribery Exposed:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06rfrrr

Fascinating story and great team to work with.

Panorama exposes corruption at one of Britain's biggest companies. Reporter Richard Bilton uncovers evidence that employees bribed civil servants and politicians across Africa - undermining a United Nations campaign to save lives. He challenges the officials who took the cash and asks whether the company will now be prosecuted for the crimes.

New short documentary for BBC - 'I did not consent'

I'm very happy to see that lot's of people are checking out a couple of films that I have been involved with.

'I did not consent' is the first of two films for TimesXTwo, a digital service offering original storytelling from BBC Digital Current Affairs and ABC News Nightline. In part one a woman exposes a medical scandal after a distressing visit to her gynaecologist: http://on.fb.me/1Gp9ZC0

In part two, “I think I’m a rapist”, we hear from the young French medical students who feel under pressure to perform intimate procedures on patients without their consent: http://on.fb.me/1L9XjEz

These films and more are hosted on TimesXTwo’s FaceBook site: www.facebook.com/timesx2

Or see the two films combined here:

I am very proud to have been the video journalist asked to work with reporter Estelle Doyle on this story.

BBC Panorama: Could a Robot Do My Job?

Check out BBC Panorama's Could a Robot Do My Job? The programme airs on Monday and I've been working with the team on a few of the shoots: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06cn1wv

Britain is on the brink of a technological revolution. Machines and artificial intelligence are beginning to replace jobs like never before.

Reporter Rohan Silva looks at the workplaces already using this new technology and asks whether we should feel threatened by it, or whether it will benefit all of us. Are we ready for one of the biggest changes the world of work has ever seen?
